EPE Backing Rod is a closed-cell polyethylene foam used as a filler to be inserted into joints. The rod is flexible, durable and compressive for easy installation. It helps control the sealant depth and creates a backstop which allows proper sealant tooling.

This filler has a variety of applications including; backing for expansion joints in road and bridge construction, window and door applications, building construction and concrete works. It is also suitable for craft and hobby uses.
